Katherine is a Special Events Coordinator at the University of New Mexico School of Engineering. She is responsible for conducting outreach events and tours of the School of Engineering to encourage high school students to pursue careers in engineering, math, and science.  Her duties also include graphic and web design, and she has participated in grant writing for the Engineering Student Services department.  Katherine will soon pursue a graduate degree in English Professional Writing, where she plans to focus in depth on technical writing and multimedia communication.
